The work of our church is organized and conducted by eight ministry teams - Care, Christian Education, Evangelism, Fellowship, Mission, Property Development, Stewardship, and Worship. Team meetings are normally held the first Sunday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Descriptions of each team’s responsibilities are outlined below. Ministry Teams- Full Description
The Care team is charged with the care and support of our church family. The team’s ministries include visitations to elderly members, weekly information packets to homebound members, a prayer chain, new member support, and sending cards or flowers.
The Christian Education team plans, coordinates, staffs, and selects resources for Sunday School, Nursery, Children’s Church, Kids Klub, Youth Group, and Vacation Bible School. For a complete description of these programs, please see the Youth Ministry and Children’s Ministry pages.
The Evangelism team is responsible for proclaiming the Good News and for welcoming visitors to our church. They are responsible for external communication, including the website and newsletters.
The Fellowship team's main responsibility is to enhance the fellowship of our members, friends, and visitors so that all who enter the doors of our church feel welcome in God's house. The team’s activities include planning church suppers and decorating the church.
The Mission team is responsible for the church’s outreach ministries - local, national, and international. Team members plan, coordinate, and encourage participation in various outreach activities. For descriptions of the current outreach activities, please see Missions. |

The Property Development team’s primary responsibility is to ensure the proper maintenance of our church building and its grounds. The team holds monthly workdays where volunteers of all skill levels perform routine building and property maintenance. The workdays are held on the third Saturday of every month and begin with breakfast.
The Stewardship team is responsible for the financial functions of the church, as well as the hiring and performance reviews of the church’s paid employees.
The Worship team is responsible for developing the worship services, in cooperation with the pastor. Their responsibilities include planning musical programs, acquiring the materials needed for worship, and creating overhead presentations for the service.
