Sunday School, Sundays, 9:45 - 10:45 a.m.
The Teen Sunday School class is currently using the Serendipity House FLOOD Experiences curriculum “Real Life - Real Issues." The issues include topics such as friendship, family conflict, and anger management. Every Sunday morning, the class spends time reading and studying the Bible, in fellowship with one another. |
Youth Group, Sundays, 6:00 - 7 :00 p.m.
Open to all teens in grades nine through twelve, the youth group participates in a myriad of fellowship, Bible study, and service activities as they grow together in serving the Lord. Youth group time consists of Bible-based devotions, enjoyable activities, good food and fellowship. | |
Last summer, the youth were involved in local mission projects, being the hands and feet of God through serving others. They worked on the Presbyterian/Methodist Habitat for Humanity House in Buncombe County and in a Neighbors in Need Project for a local elderly couple. In July, the group is traveling to the coast of South Carolina with TeamEffort to perform home improvements for families in need.
The youth also enjoy spending time together in camping adventures and seasonal retreats. |
